Each piece here at Artsy Chaos is truly an artisan handmade original. Our shop was born from necessity and love. Wendy has been drawing and crafting since childhood and it is truly a passion. John has been a custom/high end carpenter for nearly 30 years and is very much a master craftsman.

All of our unfinished wood projects start with an idea which is then drawn by hand with paper, pencil, and a vintage ruler. The templates are then made by hand. Wendy completes this process, mostly at home, all comfy in the bedroom. That's a secret, shhh! :)

John then traces each template, again by hand, and carefully cuts each piece using a scroll saw at our wood shop. They are then sanded and ready to paint./stain/decorate! Because each piece from Artsy Chaos is cut by hand, no 2 are ever exactly the same. But. we come pretty darn close being perfectionists!
